INTERVIEW | Richard Horne ahead of Barrow trip

The Dons head coach says it's been a positive week after a few honest meetings within the group ahead of their trip to Barrow.

Doncaster RLFC are looking to bounce back after a disappointing result last time out and it's a trip north west to Barrow Raiders this Sunday, April 21. 

Horne continued his honest assessments from last weeks chat with the club media team following defeat to the hands of Featherstone Rovers, "Some players are out of form at the moment, not playing or achieving what we expect and they're not living up to the standard that we've set at the beginning of the year," he said. 

The Dons head coach went on to speak about the positive reaction from the players in training this week but is well aware that needs to continue into the weekend. 

"It's about getting the basics right, getting to our last tackle plays, making sure we're putting teams under pressure and giving ourselves a chance with the ball."
